National Insurance Brokerage of N.Y., Inc. (NIBONY) was founded as a subchapter "S" Corporation in September 1995 by Frank Cormio. Mr. Cormio's insurance career began in 1989 as a salesman for "Davis, Dorland & Co." located in the heart of Manhattan. When "Davis, Dorland & Co." was sold in 1991, Frank began his own agency with George Wagner a small sole proprietor who had a small book of mixed business (under 1 million in volume) and the agency was named "George Wagner Associates". In the 4 year period between the inception of "George Wagner Associates" and the start of National Insurance Brokerage of NY, Inc. Mr. Cormio aggressively grew his personal book by 3 Million dollars and so the stage was set to open National Insurance Brokerage of NY, Inc. on his own. Armed with a small quality back office staff, association contacts, strong carrier relationships and an aggressive sales strategy, National Insurance Brokerage of NY, Inc. has grown to over Forty (40) million dollars in written premium in the time since that September 1995 and continues to grow aggressively today. We never looked back.

We are licensed to sell both Life and General Insurance (property, casualty, fidelity, surety, baggage, credit, inland and ocean marine). All shares are owned by Frank Cormio.
